In collaboration with the Prince Rainier III Academy of Music and Drama, as well as with the Department of National Education, Youth and Sports and with the support of The Princess Grace Foundation, the Foundation Prince Pierre of Monaco continues to work in favor of MUSICAL CREATION with the young audience.

Founded in 2011, The Young Audience Prize is a project that aims to introduce young musicians to contemporary composition. Each year, on the proposal of a list presented by the Musical Council, the students of the Principality’s Musical classes (CHAM) award a prize of 6,000 euros to a recent musical work.

The winning work is announced, in October during the annual Award Ceremony.
