The Discovery Grant

Created in 2001, for the 50th birthday of the Literary prize Prince Pierre, this grant is initially allotted every two years.

Henceforth awarded each year, it rewards a French-speaking author for its first fictional work and includes a 12 000 € price funded by the Foundation Princess Grace.

Such as for the Literary prize Prince Pierre, the selected authors are proposed by the members of the Literary Council during their meeting of May in Paris and the name of the prize winner is proclaimed in Monaco in autumn.
