Sacha Sperling is eighteen.


"On a deckchair, he eats an Eskimo icecream. The chocolate melts around his mouth, he puts it everywhere. It looks like dried blood. The sky is the same color as the sun. This morning, the millibar was broken into. Augustin vMoulait we celebrate his departure. The air has the faint smell of jasmine. I'm sure it's the cleaning product. He gets up at the restaurant to order something from the other side of the pool. I watch. Long palm trees move slowly behind him. Graphic. He dives into the water. He disappears for a few seconds, then reappears. He returns, he lies down on his deckchair.
