Michel Blazy est le plasticien de la matière vivante et de la pourriture. Ses compositions organiques sont le théâtre mortuaire des produits de consommation de notre société. Par l’exploration de l’altération des matières, des moisissures, l’artiste bâtit des installations fragiles et éphémères: des univers plastiques mouvants où la notion de temps est au coeur des préoccupations. Vanité en biscuits pour chien, sculptures en nouilles de soja ou autre «nature molle » faite de fruits et de légumes sont traitées par Michel Blazy avec humour et tragédie.

Michel Blazy is the artist of living matter and rot. His organic compositions are the mortuary theatre of consumer products of our society. By exploring the alteration of materials, mold, the artist builds fragile ephemeral installations, worlds of plastic where the shifting notion of time is a key concern. Vanity dog biscuits, noodles, soy sculptures or other "soft nature" made of fruit and vegetables are treated by Michel Blazy with humor and tragedy.
The work was presented during 2007 at the Palais de Tokyo as part of an exhibition devoted to the artist.
