Biography

« Né en Catalogne française en 1972. Le théorème d’Almodovar est mon premier roman publié par Gallimard en janvier 2008 et par Seix Barral (Espagne) en mars puis par Guanda en Italie. Je vis à Rome. Mon prochain livre, Mort au romantisme (Muerte al romanticismo), un recueil de nouvelles, sera publié par Gallimard en 2009. Je travaille à mon prochain roman.»

But after a few pages, it is the book that grabs us, envelopes us, is shamelessly at ease with our freedom. (...) - For fifteen years, no one saw me. To have a life, you must have a face. The frame of the novel is set, or rather the thought program, mastered - to excess. From this subtraction of existence, the narrator weaves in a fiery hundred and fifty pages (with a slight drop of intensity) another life on paper, of cinema, mathematical formulas. Two ambiguous figures make the story : a transsexual prostitute, Lisa, beautiful and voluptuous, showing a utopian perfection, and Pedro Almodovar, filmmaker who combines harmony and chaos (...)"
